Description
Ceiling HEPA filter unit AFV-8 is made of filter housing, standard
diffusers KD-1, AKD-1, KD-6, OD-8 or OD-9 and HEPA filter. Filter
is fitted with washer of a rectangular cross-section. Housing
of sheet steel is air tight welded according to DIN 1946 and
coloured in RAL 9010. Two pressure gauge attachments for
measuring of a pressure drop are incorporated into the housing.
Diffusers made of sheet steel are coloured in white (RAL 9010).
AFV-8 housing has a special sealing frame designed to perform
sit tightness test.

Product Highlights
The AMDC provides a high volume of filtered airflow with a very high induction rate and
horizontal air pattern. The high induction rate quickly mixes room and supply air working
to dilute contaminants, while the horizontal air pattern helps to direct the contaminated
air toward low-level exhaust grilles where it is removed from the clean space.
Easy Serviceability
+ Flush appearance quarter turn fasteners and stainless steel retainer cables make
the diffuser face easy to remove for quick access to the plenum for cleaning and
filter replacement.
Room Side Replaceable Filter
+ The AMDC features a room side replaceable filter that can be replaced without
disturbing the ceiling or ductwork.
+ Four, easy to use, thumb wheel retainers hold the filter in place and provide positive
fastening and easy removal.
+ A gel seal filter frame and knife-edge flange provide a leak-proof seal between the
filter and housing.
+ The AMDC is compatible with HE, HEPA, and ULPA filters.
